Desk from the Graphis series, designed by Osvaldo Borsani in collaboration with Eugenio Gerli for Tecno, produced in the 1970s.
An iconic piece of Italian executive furniture, resulting from the collaboration between two key figures in Tecno’s design research, focused on functionality, modularity and formal rigor.
The desk features a composition defined by clean volumes and carefully balanced proportions. The main worktop is complemented by a secondary integrated shelf, extending the working surface while preserving visual clarity. The surfaces are finished in laminate, with a refined chromatic contrast between the light top and the darker structure, a distinctive hallmark of the Graphis series.
A pull-out drawer with an internal plastic organizer for documents and stationery is integrated beneath the top, conceived as a functional element fully embedded in the overall design.
This project clearly reflects the shared approach of Borsani and Gerli, combining industrial rationalism, ergonomic thinking and a timeless aesthetic that remains highly relevant today.
