Product description
Very beautiful jar, carboy, in the shape of a large pot-bellied bottle with a single handle, in Norman stoneware (Calvados), antique 1920-1930, made of handcrafted, hand-turned, enameled stoneware, elegant neck with a simple handle, enamel on these areas (on one side), front and back, in wine-lees, burgundy tones, with brilliant lustrous silver reflections. One rougher side revealing the grey of the stoneware, the other darker brown/black and duller. Beautiful nuances.
Approximately 30cm total height, 15cm max diameter, narrower base, slightly flattened sides. Very good condition given its age, some imperfections and signs of time, relatively discreet, harmonious overall, beautiful Decorative Objects. Approximately 1.500kg.
