Beautiful large Bukhara/Turkmen rug from the 50s/60s, entirely hand-knotted wool with patterns composed of rows of octagonal geometric medallions (called guls) repeated across the entire central field, surrounded by a finely crafted border.It features a harmonious and warm palette combining shades of brick red, burgundy, beige, cream, and touches of black to highlight contrasts.The ends finish with pretty, well-preserved white fringes.
