Product description
Splendid and very theatrical large serving tray
with baroque and rococo design, authentic artisanal work
from Florence (Tuscany, Italy) dating from the
1960s / 1970s.
This spectacular collector's item
is structured around light carved wood, covered
with hand-painted decoration featuring classic scrollwork,
volutes and acanthus leaves in gold leaf.
The background displays a superb two-tone alternation
combining ivory white (cream) with a luminous golden patina.
The contoured silhouette integrates two
mass-molded carrying handles, typical
of the Hollywood Regency style of the era.
The satin reverse features its circular factory certification
stamp embossed in relief "Made in
Italy" in the center of its grid structure. An
Italian gem of absolute old-world elegance, ideal
as a serving tray or prestigious catch-all.
