Large decorative stoneware plate (or wall plaque) from the 1950s–1960s. Unique piece with very strong graphics, adorned with a stylized fish with a remarkable wavy tail. Champlevé work with deep incised grooves delimiting matte and satin enamels in ochre, grey-blue, white, and straw yellow tones. Technique: Incised enameled stoneware in high relief (champlevé). Origin: France, attributed to Vallauris workshop / great modernist ceramists (in the spirit of Jules Agard, Jean Derval or Les Archanges). Hanging system: Original wire wall attachment on the back. Dimensions: 31x22 cm. Weight: 976 grams. Condition: Good vintage condition, beautiful period patina
