Product description
Large antique round ironstone serving dish from the Longchamp faience factory, "Pâquerettes" polychrome model, very rare, antique late 19th early 20th century circa 1890-1910. Magnificent romantic, bucolic Art Nouveau decor of daisies, foliage, grasses and scrolls in dark pink transfer, delicately hand-enhanced with shades of fuchsia pink, mauve, nuanced green, yellow and brown. The rim is slightly scalloped.
32cm in diameter, 3.7cm in height. Very good overall condition for its age, noting some small internal cutlery scratches, some of which are patinated, and a small chip on the rim and 3 small ones underneath, discreet. Approximately 1kg.
