Mid-Century Modern - West German Design (WGP): A rare, architectural ceramic pitcher vase produced by the high-quality Gräflich Ortenburgsche Steingutmanufaktur. This iconic Model 675/2 was designed in the 1960s by the influential German ceramist Ursula Beyrau and is a sought-after collector's item. Height: 15 cm Width: 8 cm Length: 14 cm The vase stands out for its sleek, minimalist design. The cubist, square body forms a beautiful contrast with the organic, round neck and the geometrically placed handle. What makes this piece truly special is the glaze: an intense and vibrant turquoise blue with a brilliant, very fine crackle effect in the top layer. The rim and handle are masterfully finished with a flowing, dark brownish-green glaze transition typical of Ortenburg's refined studio quality. The vase is in absolutely excellent vintage condition. Shows no chips, no cracks, no restorations, and no limescale on the inside. The glaze still has its full, original deep gloss.
