The Gosmet Bydgoszcz rotating serving tray is a distinctive piece of Polish functional design from the 1970s. Manufactured during the PRL era by the Gosmet Craft Cooperative, this serving platter exemplifies the era's approach to practical yet decorative homeware.
The tray features a metal base with a smooth rotating mechanism, designed for serving cakes, fruit, or snacks. Beneath the glass top, a decorative insert in a deep burgundy hue displays an intricate white pattern reminiscent of traditional lace. Small tabs along the metal rim facilitate easy rotation and ensure stability. The piece measures 4 cm in height, 32 cm in width, and 31 cm in depth.
