About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a vintage magazine rack, made from thick, transparent acrylic. The design is a characteristic example of the Space Age aesthetic from the 70s, characterized by the use of modern materials and a minimalist design.
The rack is made from a single piece of heavy plexiglass, skillfully bent to create a sculptural, wavy shape with two compartments. These are ideal for storing magazines, books, or vinyl records. The transparency of the material creates a light and spacious effect, ensuring the object does not visually dominate its surroundings.
The overall condition of the object is good, in accordance with its age and previous use. It has retained its structural integrity and clarity, with a character that tells the story of its past. The thickness of the material testifies to the quality and durability of the production from that period.
Thanks to its timeless and understated design, this magazine rack fits seamlessly into various interior styles, from modern and minimalist to eclectic and retro. It is a stylish addition next to a sofa or armchair, where it creates order while simultaneously making a subtle design statement.
