Product description
This vintage rectangular serving tray by Scalella, crafted in Florence, Italy, exemplifies refined table accessories. The piece is distinguished by its elegant mirrored surface and striking dual-tone metallic construction, making it a sophisticated addition to any hosting collection. The tray features a clear glass mirror base securely framed by polished silver-toned metal side rails. Its defining characteristics are the substantial, gold-plated twisted handles that provide both a functional grip and a striking visual contrast. An original stamped leather tag confirms its authentic Italian provenance and meticulous artisanal execution. The thoughtful combination of gold and silver finishes allows for highly versatile integration with various existing tableware sets and decorative objects.
The piece remains in exceptional preservation, retaining its original leather maker's mark attached to the handle. The mirrored surface is entirely clear, and the metallic finishes maintain their original factory luster without significant oxidation or structural wear. Ideal for serving beverages or displaying decanters, this tray anchors a bar cart or console table with effortless grace. Its Hollywood Regency aesthetic complements both classic and contemporary interiors, offering a touch of vintage Italian glamour.
