An amazing near pair of 24k gold leaf, hand-carved oak door handle pullers in the manner of mid-century designers.
Like Gio Ponti and Guglielmo Ulrich, Vitorio Dassi dating to the 1950s. Originally from a drink cabinet door and a drawer below.
Each handle is shaped like a stylised flower with layered, angular petals radiating from a central circular detail.
The back side has a circular base where the screw goes through. One side has a smaller base than the other.
The faceted carving gives them a sculptural, geometric quality, reminiscent of Ponti’s elegant, artistic approach. To furniture design and Ulrich’s refined craftsmanship.
The gold leaf finish enhances their luxurious and decorative appeal, making them a striking addition to cabinets, drawers, or doors.
An amazing item that we rarely see and an amazing opportunity to add it on your furniture and DIY project.
