Product description
This is a vintage ceramic candle holder by the German manufacturer Goebel. The piece combines functionality with the charming, figurative aesthetic characteristic of the brand, here executed as a boy playing a flute. The candle holder is made of ceramic and has a uniform, matte earthy brown finish. With a height of 22 centimeters, it is a modestly sized object that easily finds a place. The underside is marked with 'Goebel', 'W. Germany' and the model number 1891, which confirms its West German origin and the authenticity of the piece. The object is in very good vintage condition, appropriate for its age. The matte texture of the ceramic is generally well preserved and the shape is completely intact. Only minimal signs of use in the form of a few fleabites. Very inconspicuous and normal for its age. See photos. The design is representative of the collectibles Goebel produced during this period.
