About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a decorative fireplace by the French manufacturer Godin, made of heavy cast iron. The piece is an example of the brand's rich heritage in producing heating appliances that are both functional and aesthetically refined.
The fireplace is finished in a deep black color and is richly decorated with detailed, openwork panels in a style reminiscent of Art Nouveau or the classical period. The doors feature medallions with cherubs and floral motifs, accented by small brass knobs. The construction testifies to the craftsmanship for which Godin is known, with a robust frame and graceful columns at the corners.
The overall condition of the fireplace is consistent with its age, with a characteristic patina that contributes to its authentic appearance.
The internal gas heating element is visible, although its functional condition has not been tested.
The fireplace was stored in working condition, but no guarantee!
This object is sold as a decorative piece.
This Godin decorative fireplace can serve as a striking centerpiece in a classic or eclectic interior. It adds an element of historical depth and artisanal beauty to a living room, study, or reception area.
