Product description
Glazed porcelain vase with blue crystallisations, signed by Patrice Lusardi.
A magnificent ovoid porcelain vase with a narrow neck, standing 29 cm tall, created by the French ceramist Patrice Lusardi (born in 1946), known for his mastery of the technique of crystallised glazes. This demanding technique involves heating the glaze to very high temperatures and then significantly slowing the cooling process to allow the zinc in the glaze to reorganise into random crystalline formations, creating a unique nebulous decoration for each piece.
This vase reveals a range of blues, from bright turquoise to deep blue, punctuated by star-shaped and burst-like crystallisations that unfold over the shoulder of the piece and gradually fade towards the more uniform base. Each example is the result of a unique and unpredictable firing, making this vase a one-of-a-kind piece that cannot be reproduced.
The piece is signed, ensuring authenticity and traceability.
A very beautiful object of contemporary French ceramic collection, impressive in size (29 cm), which will naturally find its place alone, like a sculpture, or as a complement to a design interior.
