An imposing lion sculpture in white glazed clay, made at the beginning of the 20th century recreating an exquisite Romanesque style. This piece captures the essence of Romanesque art with its robust forms and carefully sculpted details, highlighting the texture of the lion's mane and solemn features. Its condition is good, preserving the white glaze with beautiful crackling and some minor loss as shown in the images. On the front legs at mid-height, we can sense what was perhaps a past restoration that is practically imperceptible.
