The platter made in 1961 by the Danish glassworks Holmegaard, with an organic, sculptural form characteristic of 1960s design. A vintage Holmegaard platter from 1961 – a unique large bowl made of mass-coloured artistic glass. It delights with its organic, biomorphic form with three dynamic ‘wings’, characteristic of Danish design of the 1960s. It is not only a functional object, but also a sculptural decoration, ideal for mid-century modern interiors and Scandinavian glass collections.
