About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This object is a hand-blown glass bowl, crafted by the Dutch artist Thea Figee. The piece is distinguished by its organic shape and the unique, swirling pattern of colors in the glass. The bowl is entirely made of glass and displays a palette of warm, earthy tones, including pink, brown, and orange, combined with transparent sections that create depth. The glassblowing technique is clearly visible in the subtle irregularities and the trapped air bubbles, which make each piece unique. On the underside, the object is signed by the artist and dated '2015', confirming its authenticity and origin. The overall condition of the bowl is excellent, with no visible signs of use. The texture and internal patterns, including the fine lines that resemble craquelure, are an integral part of the artistic process and contribute to the character of the work. As an autonomous art object, this bowl functions beautifully as a decorative centerpiece on a table, dresser, or in a display cabinet. It seamlessly fits into both modern and classic interiors, where it adds a subtle splash of color and a touch of artisanal design.
