Product description
A vintage coffee table by Gispen, an iconic Dutch design brand. The design combines a warm wooden top with an industrial chrome and metal base, a combination characteristic of the manufacturer's functionalist aesthetic. Designer Christoffel Hoffmann
The table has a round wooden top, presumably oak, which rests on a robust central leg. This leg consists of four tubular columns of chrome-plated metal, which converge into a cross-shaped base. The base is painted black and finished with metal caps, providing a stable and visually interesting foundation.
The overall condition of the table is good and consistent with its age and use. The original finish and materials have been preserved, giving the piece an authentic character and a clear vintage look. The combination of materials and clear design language make this a recognizable piece of Dutch Design.
Tabletop size 80 cm diameter, height 59 cm. Can also be picked up in Soest
