Product description
Gispen Model 663-2 — Wim Rietveld, 1954
Special Original Gispen Model 663-2 Modular Storage cabinet, Designed By Wim Rietveld In 1954.
A characteristic example of Dutch post-war furniture design, where functionality and a clear industrial design come together. The cabinet is built on a modular concept and designed as practical storage furniture for both living and working environments.
Wim Rietveld's design is recognizable by its clean lines, rational construction, and understated design. Precisely because of this simplicity, the cabinet has a timeless appeal and fits well in a modern interior as well as in a more classic or eclectic interior.
The metal finish gives the furniture a powerful, architectural look, while the proportions and layout ensure a calm appearance.
A beautiful piece of Dutch design from the 1950s, for lovers of Gispen, Wim Rietveld, and Industrial Modernism.
