Product description
This Gispen armchair 1401 with Ottoman 1801 has just returned from the upholsterer.
The models were designed by the famous designer Wim Rietveld! The set with Ottoman is rare and not often offered.
We completely stripped and repainted the steel frame of the armchair, added new fillings and, of course, new fabric...
The applied Mode design fabric
was specially designed for the recently renovated Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht. We had a few meters left over, and a part of it was used for this unique set!
A nice detail is that the fabric is reversible, so both sides can be used. In this case, grey with black, but it can also be exactly the other way around.
