Product description
This is an original mixed-media artwork by the Italian artist Giovanni Strada. The work, signed and dated '88-'89, shows a playful and expressive composition on an unconventional surface.
The artwork is created on a sheet with printed musical notation, adding a layered, historical context. The technique combines drawing and painting, with vibrant colors such as orange, blue, green, and red contrasting with the beige background of the paper. The central image is a stylized, winking face, surrounded by abstract shapes and handwritten text. The work is framed in a simple clip frame that keeps the focus on the artwork itself.
The overall condition of the work is good, consistent with its age. The paper has developed a natural patina that contributes to the character of the piece. The colors are bright, and the details, including the artist's signature, are clearly visible.
This unique piece would be a striking addition to an eclectic or modern interior. It is particularly suitable for a study, living room, or music room, where it adds an element of artistic and intellectual curiosity.
