Splendid 1950s executive desk by Italian designer Gio Ponti. A rare design by Gio Ponti, one of the most important and prestigious post-war Italian architects and designers. The desk is made of wood with a back-painted glass top. The desk has four front drawers, a pair on each side. Desk dimensions: (h) 80x187x89 cm. The desk is in good overall condition, with minor material defects due to age and normal use. Minor scratches and dents consistent with the age of the two pieces.
