Pieta statue by G. Ruggeri, made in the last century in Italy.
Depicted is Saint Mary seated with in her womb the lifeless Jesus.
The statue is made of marble or resin (ground carrara marble with polyurethane) and then polished. The statue is mounted on a marble base.
The beautiful statue is detailed and is pleasing to the eye.
