Product description
Gimson & Slater ( English ) wanted to compete with modern Scandinavian design in the 1960s.
The furniture manufacturer partnered with 2 Norwegian designers.
This chair called Rock 'n Rest chair has been the most popular.
Shown chair is also an adjustable version with interesting mechanism ( steps ).
Time ago I acquired the chair from the 1st owners.
Interior was no longer optimal and renewed.
The old original green velour fabric was professionally replaced by this ochre yellow quality fabric with slight silk shine
(fabric: AB Aries, 100% polyester with easyclean).
Woodwork ( teak ) has been touched up and polished
