Product description
A beautiful large screen print by artist Gerti Bierenbroodspot. The beautiful warm colors immediately bring a good feeling to the room. The silkscreen is hand signed and in excellent condition.
Gerti Bierenbroodspot (1940) is a painter, sculptor and writer. She attended the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten and the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten. Pretty soon after her academy days, she had such immediate success that the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam purchased her work. She ended up on a track she did not like, began to travel and found new inspiration particularly in the iconography of classical antiquity. Bierenbroodspot is a romantic who, like a "time traveler," enjoys residing in a mythical world that she expresses in her work.
You can come see the work in advance at the Rotor gallery's treasury in Gorinchem or pick it up after purchase. Sales are through the Whoppah platform. The work can also be sent via registered mail. We can do the framing work for you if required.
