This chair was designed in 1920 by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld; original examples are extremely rare. This particular example was likely manufactured in the early 1970s by a carpenter at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam for the exhibition 'G. Rietveld. Architect'. A few other examples were made by Gerard van de Groenekan, who worked as Rietveld's regular carpenter. Rietveld's original high chair has unfortunately been lost. (source: Kunstconsult) Excellent condition, with only signs of use consistent with its age. Height: 90 cm Dimensions: 44 x 41 cm
