The large lavender-blue daisy occupies the entire server, its large, supple petals hand-painted with a freedom of brushstroke that reveals the artisan's hand. The yellow heart encircled with black dots, the pink buds, the deep green foliage. Pure white background, reddish-brown rim all around the edge. A floral composition more ample, more generous than the first, on a server with a slightly different silhouette. The marking on the back, "Germany" printed in black, places this piece within German export production from the years . These earthenware pie servers were produced in series in the factories of Thuringia and Bavaria, each piece hand-painted with a slightly variable design. Approximately 28 cm in length. Placed on a sideboard or slipped into an antique kitchen drawer, this pie server brings a touch of floral charm and domestic history. It naturally pairs with item to form a matching pair.
