For sale is a classic 35mm Dacora Dignette camera, manufactured in the late 1950s and early 1960s by the renowned and respected Dacora-Kamerawerk manufacturer based in Reutlingen (West Germany/West Germany). This camera is equipped with the renowned, fast Dignar 1:2.8/45mm lens and the reliable Pronto shutter. The camera works with standard, readily available 35mm film (type 135). About Dacora: Dacora-Kamerawerk was founded just after the war, in 1946, by Bernhard Dangelmaier. For decades, the brand has been a symbol of solid West German craftsmanship. Renowned for producing durable, well-designed, and portable cameras, the Dignette series became one of its greatest market successes throughout Western Europe. Technical and visual condition: Mechanical: The camera is in good working order. The shutter cocks correctly and responds dynamically (clicks) when the trigger is pressed. The focus and aperture rings operate with adequate resistance. The device has not been tested with photographic film. Visual: The condition is visible in the attached photos – very nice, with minimal signs of age. The metal finishes and veneer are clean and complete.
