About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Gerburg Karthausen, was awarded the State Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia, among others. Although her works often have a vase function, they are architectural objects. This work dates back to 1999 and the reduced color scheme typical of her work emphasizes the clear form. In cream-white and almost black-brown. The shape is a little wider at the bottom than at the top, giving it an elegant appearance, even though the surface is rough.
