Gerard Geytenbeek (Utrecht, April 19, 1934 – Zwijndrecht, May 15, 2008) was a Dutch furniture designer and architect, best known for his mid-century furniture designs.
His work was characterized by simple, clean lines and optimal functionality, using high-quality materials such as luxurious woods and leather.
Geytenbeek found inspiration in the work of Gerrit Rietveld and had connections with the Institute for Industrial Design in Amsterdam. He believed that good design should be both aesthetic and practical and strove to combine the two. Several of his designs were awarded prestigious design prizes.
