Beautiful statue on marble base. The statue is 45 cm high (including marble base). The statue is in new condition. The statue is made of a tin alloy and then bronzed. GER VAN TANKEREN (1937) is self-taught. When demand for his synthetic resin statues began to decline, he switched to casting statues in a tin alloy, which he then bronzed. Ger is known for his versatility and eye for detail. He made images from very realistic things to artistic and religious scenes. Ger remained active until he was 82, making various models, which are not only suitable for the living room, but can also serve as a promotional gift and look great in the office.
