Product description
'Animan' Hand signed:Yes, lower right Frame:Beautiful black baking frame Technique:Acrylic paint applied to canvas About the artist: Initially, Georges artworks are realistic. Until at some point he runs into certain limits, which prevent him from working freely. Therefore, he continues in expressionism. The artist gets his inspiration from the animal world and fairy tales, but the Middle Ages and prehistoric times are also rewarding subjects. Among his great examples are Picasso, the expressionist Kees Bastiaans or the symbolic painter Gustav Klimt. He is most impressed by Egon Schiele. When Georges works on his art, he takes time for himself to create something. He escapes the day-to-day. The artist likes modern colors a lot, they especially express a lot of positivism. Not only does it make his life richer, but it also makes him feel good when he transfers his imagination into a work of art. It is a challenge for Georges de Groot to constantly advance in his own art. Georges has many exhibitions to his name, solo or in groups. For example, he exhibited in Art Fair in Nijmegen, Galleria De Marchi in Bologna Italy, Rosetti Fine Art Gallery Fort Lauderdale USA. The works of Georges de Groot are highly sought after and are now sold throughout Western Europe and America!
