Product description
This is the Garland Light, an iconic design by the Dutch designer Tord Boontje.
The design consists of a long, continuous strand of finely etched metal, executed in a silver-colored finish. The dimensions indicated correspond to the photos. It can be hung longer.
The strand is adorned with a delicate tangle of flowers, leaves, and branches that the user can drape around a light source themselves.
The design was originally produced by Habitat and later by Artecnica, and is included in the permanent collections of MoMA in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
The lamp is in good condition and retains the delicate structure of the metal elements. The flexibility of the material is fully intact, allowing it to be shaped as desired. It needs to be slightly untangled and dusted.
