Product description
Nine-lights fixture in chrome with textured details, oval crystals and crystal bars. A chandelier in a spectacular mix of classic and modern. Marked with the Sciolari label, 1970s.
Small Edison Screw (SES), (E17 14-17 mm) max 60 watt, the electric parts are in a used condition, approved to European standards. Works in the USA. Contains 33 bars and 31 oval crystals. One bar has a minor crack (see last picture) but otherwise in a good condition.
Dimensions: height from ceiling till drop: (100 cm), the chandelier self: (50 cm), diameter: (47 cm).
Though the Sciolari Company was founded in Rome in the 1890s, the name Sciolari only attracted international attention more than half a century later when Gaetano Sciolari designed a number of iconic lamps for Stilnovo and subsequently modernized the assortment of his family’s firm. By introducing models which combine modernist idiom with sculptural shapes and classical themes with contemporary looks Sciolari’s lighting fixtures were and still are highly recognizable and very appealing.
