Product description
In 1969, Gaetano Pesce designed an armchair that springs from its packaging and inflates to its full form within minutes. The UP5 and its ottoman UP6 are molded from flexible polyurethane foam, vacuum-packed, and unfold by themselves. The organic silhouette quickly became an icon of the radical Italian design movement.
This piece by B&B Italia features the original striped upholstery in orange-red. The fabric has been professionally deep-cleaned, and the foam filling has retained its elasticity. Minimal signs of wear are visible on the upholstery, overall very well maintained.
The price includes the armchair and ottoman.
