About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an authentic "Tutti Frutti I" Bowl, designed by the renowned Italian architect and designer Gaetano Pesce for his brand Fish Design. The piece is a prime example of Pesce's experimental approach to materials and his philosophy that imperfection and uniqueness are essential characteristics of design.
The Bowl is made of flexible, colored resin, a material characteristic of Pesce's work. The structure consists of intertwined strands in vibrant red and yellow, forming an open, organic shape reminiscent of spaghetti. Each Bowl in this series is unique, as the manufacturing process is done by hand, leading to slight variations in each piece. According to the accompanying certificate, this example was produced in Italy in 2004.
The condition of the Bowl is excellent and original. It comes complete with the Fish Design certificate of authenticity, care instructions, and original packaging. This completeness underscores the provenance and collectible nature of the object.
As a sculptural centerpiece or a standalone art object, this Bowl makes a bold statement in any modern or eclectic interior. It is ideal for display on a sideboard, console, or coffee table, embodying the playful yet profound aesthetic of Italian design.
