This Desvres earthenware pitcher (or rather, vase, as we know it today!) is a vintage piece dating from the 1950s-1960s. It is signed by Gabriel Fourmaintraux (GF) and bears the inscription "Handmade" along with its model number on the base.
This is the Edelweiss model, decorated with stylized flowers in low relief on a matte black background. The piece is in very good condition, without any chips or cracks.

An iconic piece of folk art from this period, ideal for a chalet or retro style decor.
