This magnificent mid-century modern dressing table (or vanity desk) complete with its original matching stool is a definitive icon of British design history. Manufactured by the legendary British company G-Plan (E. Gomme Ltd.) as part of their highly celebrated "Fresco" range during the 1970s, the set was designed by the renowned Victor Wilkins. Crafted from premium teak wood, the vanity showcases Wilkins' signature organic style, featuring beautifully sculpted solid teak drawer handles, a floating tabletop aesthetic, and the iconic hidden "floating" central jewelry drawer lined in its original rich purple velvet.
The set comes complete with its matching circular Fresco stool, designed to slide seamlessly underneath the desk when not in use to maintain a clean, minimalist profile.
