G-32 Table Lamp by Goffredo Reggiani for Reggiani Lighting, Italy (1960s)
Goffredo Reggiani was one of Italy’s most inventive lighting designers and the founder of the renowned Reggiani Lighting company. His work from the 1960s and 70s is celebrated for its modernist forms, high-quality materials, and distinctive Italian elegance.
The G-32 table lamp is a striking example of his mid-century design language. It features a black metal base with a multicurved black and white acrylic shade, designed with undulating “wave-like” forms that create a unique play of light and shadow. The combination of geometric strength and organic fluidity makes this piece both functional and sculptural.
This lamp is in very good vintage condition, with minor scratches and a minor nick (0.4 mm) in the shade, consistent with age. A rare and highly collectible model that perfectly embodies the spirit of 1960s Italian lighting design.
