This is an early scissor Wall light, designed by Christian Dell for the manufacturer Kaiser Leuchten. Model: 6614
The piece is an iconic example of Bauhaus-era design, embodying the principles of functionality and formal reduction.
The lamp is made of metal and features an extendable scissor arm, allowing for flexible positioning of the light. The surface is painted in a cream-white hue, characteristic of the period. Manufactured in Germany in the 1930s or 1940s, this model is known for its robust construction and timeless industrial design.
The lamp is in original condition and shows an authentic patina that testifies to its long history. Age-related signs of wear contribute to the object's character and emphasize its vintage aesthetic. The original wiring is present, which underscores the authenticity of the piece.
