This piece of furniture is a beautiful and extremely rare, authentic piece from the French reconstruction period, originating from Southwest France, and a wonderful example of the transition to modern post-war design. Beautiful bookmatched veneer on the door creates a calm yet luxurious symmetry. The back bears the original factory stamp 47.032.001B, with 47 suggesting the year 1947 and B referring to Bouleau (Birch).
