Sculptural vintage table lamp from France, made in the 1970s and executed in the style of Pia Manu.
The lamp is constructed from multiple horizontally stacked glass panes that together create a powerful pyramid shape. The structure is hand-assembled onto a metal frame and rests on spherical metal feet.
The light diffuses beautifully through the light green glass layers, creating a warm, layered lighting effect. Even when the lamp is switched off, the object remains a strong presence as a decorative sculpture, and the glass subtly captures the ambient light.
A characterful and architectural object that functions both as lighting and as a sculptural design piece.
