About Renzo Maar
Renzo Maar is a young French-Italian artist and designer who works primarily with stoneware, plaster, and metal.
Passionate about the work of great 20th-century artists and designers such as Alberto Giacometti, Diego Giacometti, Jean-Michel Frank, Serge Roche, Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé, Line Vautrin, and Jean Royère, he combines minimalist forms with pure colors to create mirrors, lighting, and furniture pieces in a contemporary style.
This contemporary French mirror, the "Sole" model by Renzo Maar, embodies a sculptural approach to interior design. The piece is distinguished by its textured ceramic frame, evoking the rays of a stylized sun, which lends an organic and artistic dimension to the object.
Made of ceramic with a brown glazed finish, this mirror testifies to meticulous craftsmanship. The irregular and glossy surface of the frame captures the light, creating plays of shadow and reflection that enrich its visual appeal. The central circular glass provides a clear and functional reflective surface.
This mirror is in excellent condition, with no major structural or aesthetic flaws. The original finish is intact, preserving the integrity of Renzo Maar's design.
Ideal for a contemporary or eclectic interior, this "Sole" mirror integrates perfectly into a living room, entryway, or bedroom. It blends harmoniously with natural materials such as wood or stone, adding a touch of sculptural sophistication to the space.
