Product description
A stunning vintage display cabinet dating back to the 1940s, characterized by a refined Art Déco style and rich walnut grain, which lends the piece depth, warmth, and a strong sense of character.
The structure is distinguished by its harmonious geometric forms, rounded corners, and balanced proportions—elements that give the piece a solid, commanding presence. The warm tone of the wood and the magnificent burl grain further enhance the authentic character of this significant vintage furnishing.
The upper section features two glass doors with beveled panes, embellished with meticulous craftsmanship that underscores their quality. The side panels are also made of beveled glass, allowing light to pass through the cabinet and highlighting the objects displayed within. Inside, there are two glass shelves, ideal for showcasing collections, glassware, ceramics, porcelain, or art objects.
The lower section consists of two wooden doors, concealing a practical interior compartment—perfect for storing accessories or items you prefer to keep out of sight.
The substantial base, featuring shaped feet and well-defined volumes, completes a structure with a striking visual impact, typical of the decorative aesthetic of the 1940s.
A piece of remarkable charm and character, it is perfectly suited to enhance a classic interior or to create a sophisticated contrast within a contemporary setting.
The cabinet has been polished and shows normal signs of wear consistent with its age and use.
The glass shelves have a few small chips, as shown in the photographs.
The lock on the upper section is in working order.
