Set of 6 original Fredericia Mikado dining chairs, designed by the Danish design duo Johannes Foersom & Peter Hiort-Lorenzen. An elegant and timeless design classic, made of wood with original loose seat cushions, upholstered in high-quality dark brown leather that appears almost black depending on the light. The chairs were purchased new approximately 15 years ago in Alkmaar at Coos de Wit Wonen and are in excellent condition. They have been carefully used and have retained their original finish and materials. The wood and leather show a beautiful, natural character consistent with careful use, without significant wear. The construction is completely solid and the leather cushions are also in good condition. Model: Mikado Design: Johannes Foersom & Peter Hiort-Lorenzen Manufacturer: Fredericia Quantity: 6 chairs Upholstery: original dark brown leather, very dark in color Condition: excellent, with light signs of use appropriate for their age Origin: purchased new approximately 10 years ago in Amsterdam Original execution and materials Additional Seventh Chair: In addition, one identical seventh Mikado chair is available. This one has an identical cushion in black leather. One of the wooden 'beads' is missing from this cushion and will need to be replaced. This chair can be supplied as an extra chair with the set if desired.
