Beautiful stoneware pitcher glazed by Frédéric Watteel, signed and dated Strasbourg, circa 1950. Cloudy glazes in shades of ochre and brown on a turquoise base, reminiscent of the work of his student Michel Delmotte. In good condition except for a chip in the glaze on the upper rim.
