Elegant, slender bar cabinet from France from the Art Deco period, presumably around 1930–1935. The furniture is veneered with expressively grained rosewood and is characterized by its clear, vertically emphasized architecture and unusually narrow shape. Particularly decorative is the original or period-typical transparent glass handle with light spacers, which forms an attractive contrast to the dark-grained rosewood. Behind the door is a functional interior with shelves for bottles, glasses, and bar accessories. The restrained, geometric design combines the luxurious material selection of French Art Deco with an already distinctly modernist formal language. The furniture is in good, age-appropriate condition with a light patina and usual signs of wear. The surface beautifully shows the natural, lively grain of the rosewood veneer. Origin: France c. 1930–1935 Style: Art Deco / Modernist Material: Rosewood veneer, wood, glass
