About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
The Frank Sitzmöbel 'Mate' recliner is a striking example of contemporary German seating design. This adjustable lounge chair combines ergonomic engineering with a bold visual presence, defined by its high backrest and integrated headrest. Upholstered in vibrant red leather, the chair features a streamlined silhouette with gently curved armrests that invite relaxation. It rests on a circular metal base, providing stability and a modern aesthetic. The piece incorporates an electrical reclining mechanism, as indicated by the manufacturer's label on the central column, allowing for seamless adjustment to the user's preferred seating position. The chair remains in good overall condition, a few light scratches and small damage on the back of chair (photos 7 and 8) retaining its structural integrity and the vivid colour of its original leather upholstery. The reclining mechanism is intact, and the piece preserves its intended functionality and character. This recliner serves as a strong focal point in a modern living room, home office, or reading nook. Its saturated colour and clean lines pair well with minimalist interiors or spaces that embrace bold, contemporary design elements.
