Decorative vintage Spanish bullfighting textile poster dating from 1969, presented in an old rustic wooden frame.
The textile shows a matador facing a bull beneath the inscription “Plaza de Toros Monumental”, with the programme for two bullfights held on 13 and 14 August 1969.
The printed programme features several major names of Spanish bullfighting:

Diego Puerta
Santiago Martín “El Viti”
Antonio Bienvenida
Curro Girón
Manuel Benítez “El Cordobés”
Printed on fabric rather than paper, the piece has a strong decorative quality, with a distinctive palette of pink, ochre, brown and turquoise blue.
The textile shows natural folds, creases and age-related irregularities. The old wooden frame has an attractive patina and complements the piece particularly well.
A striking piece of vintage Spanish wall decor, ideal for Mediterranean, rustic, eclectic or wabi-sabi interiors.
