Presenting a distinguished reproduction of a vintage map of Hampshire, originally crafted by the renowned cartographer John Speed. This exquisite piece is elegantly framed, offering a glimpse into the historical geography of Hampshire with intricate detailing and vibrant colors.
Below the print it reads "Reproduced for display and training purposes by 42 Survey Engineer Regiment". The 42 Survey Engineer Regiment is a specialised unit of military geographers and attached supporting elements of the British army.
This print is framed and is ready to be hung on the wall. It has a strap on the back. On the back of the solid wooden frame there is also a sticker that reads: "Craftsman Bernard Rose Ltd" with an address in Newbury.
59.5 centimers wide by 46.5 centimers tall. Weighs approximately 2.2 kilograms.
